painting the kitchen white

I decided that the kitchen needed a fresh coat of paint, and went with classic china white...As I am so influenced by the names in the palette and all those cupboards are filled with white china, I agonized over all the choices and went with my tried and true color...it's not too cold, not too bright, not too yellow or pink or gray, but just right for this old house with its imperfections...

  3. I am wanting to paint my dining room table white but am afraid to commit. Worried that the chips and marks that ensue won't look chic or shabby, just dirty and yucky. Sigh.

    Love how this looks though!

  4. Lovely Tricia! Your kitchen is always so fresh looking.
The best thing I have done in the kitchen is paint the table and the cupboards white =0) Even with two little boys running trucks around it all, it always looks wonderful and fresh/clean.

  8. Oh how I wish I could invite you in for a cup of tea to chat over my round white kitchen table....and you could help me to get some more ideas. You have an amazing eye for style. I have your books and go to them for inspiration...since you haven't stopped in for coffee or tea!

  10. The kitchen is the key part of the house. This ought to be paid more attention in terms of cleanliness & design.
